We are seeking a team member to play an important role in a variety of projects such as water treatment, pipelines, distribution, pump stations, storage tanks, and sewer projects consisting of collection systems, lift stations, and treatment. This position involves a combination of both office-based and field-based duties.
Field-based duties include acting as a liaison between the construction site and the engineering team, conducting on-site observation to monitor construction progress, and collaborating with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to address construction-related issues.
Office-based duties include collaborating as a team member with engineers and project managers in the preparation of design plans, specifications, and construction documents, utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools to create and modify project drawings, assisting with quantity and cost estimation for projects before bidding, conducting engineering calculations and analyses to support the design and planning phases of projects, performing constructability reviews of projects in design, and participating in the review and approval of project submittals, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology or equivalent. 0 – 3 years of experience in the Civil/Construction Engineering industry. Engineer Intern certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000
