Required Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
- Doctoral degree in counselor education and supervision, from a CACREP-accredited program or have been employed as a full-time faculty member in a counselor education program for a minimum of one full academic year before July,1, 2013. Applicants studying in counselor education who are ABD will be considered for this position.
- Experience in college/university teaching graduate and undergraduate courses and clinical education
- Commitment to developing and teaching online courses
- Evidence of potential for scholarly productivity
- Ability to work collaboratively with other faculty, professional staff, and persons from diverse backgrounds
- Eligibility for Montana Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
- Interest in addictions counseling and willingness to pursue Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) licensing in Montana.
- Expertise in the fields of addiction, rehabilitation counseling, and/or mental health counseling.
- Experience in advising students.
- A commitment to scientist-practitioner philosophy with experience in implementation of CACREP accreditation standards.
- Eligibility for Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC).
