About

Gratitude in Action (GIA) is a Billings-based nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting recovery and sober living by creating a supportive community that empowers individuals to become self-sufficient. Through a structured and compassionate approach, GIA provides opportunities for men and women to rebuild their lives and transition into long-term recovery.

At the core of their work is Ignatia’s House, a sober living program that offers a safe, structured environment for individuals overcoming addiction. Residents are supported with accountability, life skills development, and access to community resources such as employment assistance, counseling, and education.

GIA also operates a local thrift store that not only provides affordable goods to the community but also serves as a pathway for individuals in recovery to gain job skills and work experience. Proceeds from the store help fund recovery housing and support services, creating a sustainable model that reinvests directly into the community.

With a mission centered on hope, accountability, and community, Gratitude in Action continues to make a meaningful impact by helping individuals reclaim their lives and build a stronger future.
