Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Generate deposits and fee income through direct prospecting and relationship building.
- A significant amount of time will be spent conducting "outbound" customer support, including, but not limited to meeting with prospective customers, assisting current customers, troubleshooting customer challenges, conducting informative meetings.
- Execute strategic business development plans to expand customer base.
- Lead sales team to achieve growth targets through effective coaching.
- Participate in customer calls or meetings upon request from branch staff or customers and supports and leads sales conversations unless otherwise directed.
- Coordinate and complete onboarding for new treasury customers.
- Assist staff during customer interactions when treasury expertise is needed.
- Maintain active community presence through events and networking.
- Act as a liaison between customers, branches, and back-office teams to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
- Support the bank's efforts in analyzing deposit relationships with both existing and prospective relationships. Perform financial analyses using bank statements, merchant statements and/or account analysis statements to compare with the competitors.
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape.
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience: Two to Five years of banking or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.
Education/Certifications/Licenses: A high school degree or GED is required; college education is preferred.
