Ag Committee Meeting

After a brief summer recess, our next meeting of the Billings Chamber Ag Committee will be Friday, August 7 meeting at 7 am at the Hampton Inn on Southgate Drive. 

Our guest speaker will be Joe Lackman of the MSU GROW Program along with two students, Reese Conover and Kindra Sedgwick, who are GROW interns at the Southern Ag Research Center. We’ll hear updates on MontanaFair and Rodeo Billings to kick off the roundtable discussion and gather input from committee members on guest speakers for the upcoming year. 

The Ag Committee fulfills the annual strategic plan for ag programming, events, and activities. Monthly meetings are held on the first Friday of each month from 7-8 am. Each month, we unite producers, suppliers, leaders, and officials to advance education, awareness, and action on the issues shaping ag. The Billings Chamber Ag Committee is open to members in good standing of the Billings Chamber and elected officials. It is free to attend as a membership benefit.
