Signing up for shifts:
  • We email out available events to be staffed. Once or twice per month and may occasionally send out reminder emails if we aren't seeing enough response. These emails will come from our Set-up and Tear-down coordinator, Chris (CC'd on this email)
  • It's up to you to select and work events around your schedule, we just ask that if you say yes to a set up you show up or you provide as much advanced notice as possible if something has come up. If you take a shift and drop it more then 3 times a season we may need to remove you from the mailing list for events. Our clients depend on us and we depend on our team. So the biggest requirement for this position is dependability.
  • If you are non-responsive to the emails that get sent out for more then a few months in a row we may assume you aren't interested in taking shifts and will remove you from our email list. If you need to go on an extended leave just let us know and we can accommodate that.
  • This is a part time position that can be worked around your existing commitments. Work is seasonal and will always be heavier with more available shift options during weekends, weeknights, holidays, and in the summers. As this is the nature of the event industry.
