Payroll Coordinator

Join the premier human resources and payroll provider in the region. We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring accuracy in payroll calculations, and maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations. This role requires strong computer and analytical skills along with customer service.

Duties

  • Manage the full payroll processing, including data entry, processing, and reporting.
  • Utilize payroll software built in house.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations regarding payroll and tax reporting.
  • Conduct account reconciliation for payroll-related accounts to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Work with customers and team members.
  • Analyze payroll data to identify discrepancies or issues and resolve them promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee hours worked, deductions, and benefits.
  • Support year-end processes including W-2 preparation and tax filings.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in payroll processing or related accounting roles.
  • Customer Services abilities.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and reporting.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively within deadlines.
  • Experience in non-profit accounting is advantageous but not required.
