Tourism and Business at Montana's Trailhead
Tourism and Business at Montana's Trailhead - Creating a Sense of Place Tourism in Billings has completely reshaped in recent years with the creation of the Tourism Business Improvement District or T.B.I.D. Tourism impacts the local economy by more than $250,000,000 annually. Billings is a strong destination for leisure, business and sports travel segments, but there is much work to be done in order to grow visitation and avoid becoming complacent. How can Billings become a bigger player in the travel game? How can tourism partners and businesses help Billings be the place to visit or to be the host city for an upcoming convention? Join the Billings Chamber/CVB and Tourism Business Improvement District (T.B.I.D.) for an event that will focus on the state of the industry today and how to remain viable in a highly competitive, ever-evolving industry. Judy Randall will present her findings and entertain Q & A during her presentation from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. The general public is encouraged to attend this event as tourism and travel have such a tremendous economic impact on the city of Billings and Yellowstone County. RSVP’s are required. Cancellations for refunds cannot be honored less than 72 hours in advance of event date/time. Thank you for understanding.
