Ag Flood Tour
Recent flooding of the Clarks Fork River, Rock Creek, and Stillwater has had astronomical effects not only on towns in Carbon County and Stillwater County but also our agricultural producers. This unprecedented event requires a robust response not only from the areas and people affected but the assistance of neighboring communities, and state and federal levels. What happens in our neighboring counties has a direct impact on the economy of Billings. The Billings Chamber believes in uplifting our neighbors and helping in these times of need. Our goal is to catalyze relief efforts and bring attention to the specific impacts the flood has on the agriculture industry and rural communities.
Join us on an Ag Flood Tour on August 3rd in Carbon and Stillwater Counties of the flood damages to help us convene local, state and national leaders, community members, and media partners to raise awareness and show first-hand the drastic effects of the flood.
This day-long tour will depart from Billings and stops will cover crops and farmland, agriculture infrastructure, irrigation systems, livestock and more.
