The Montana Young Professionals Summit returns to Billings October 1–2, 2026, bringing young professionals from across the state together for two days of connection, professional development and conversations about what it means to build a career, lead and create opportunity right here in Montana.

Hosted at The Paper Mill, this year’s theme, Built for This, is about more than professional growth. It’s about the people, businesses, industries and communities being built across Montana, and the role the next generation of leaders will have in what comes next.

The Summit kicks off with international keynote speaker and resilience expert Kate Gladdin, followed by a lineup of Montana leaders and organizations including Dr. Stefani Hicswa of MSU Billings, Dustin Bretz of Bretz RV, Erika Wright of Billings Clinic, Emily Petroff of SWITCH Society, Edgar Johansson of Montana Spaceport, Justin Hutchinson of Big J Show Cares and Jeff Beck of the University of Mary.

Across the two days, attendees will explore resilience, leadership, entrepreneurship, workforce development, emerging industries, community involvement and what it takes to grow a career and business in Montana. Sessions are designed to be engaging and practical, with plenty of opportunities to connect with speakers and other attendees along the way.

Thursday will wrap up with a surprise interactive experience, while Friday turns the focus to what is being Built Here, from growing Montana businesses to leadership and the opportunities ahead.
